Cookies

A ‘cookie’ is an item of data stored on the user’s device containing information about their use of a website. Circle Spy sets cookies for the following features:

  • Comments – When commenting, we offer users a ‘remember’ option which, if selected, will save their details (e.g. name, email address) in cookies so they don’t have to re-enter them for future comments.
  • Polls – Every time a user votes in our polls, a cookie is set to remember their choice(s) and prevent them from voting again.
  • WordPress – Circle Spy uses the WordPress content management software, which may set cookies on your device.
  • Stats – Circle Spy uses services including Google Analytics to track statistics about our website and how it is used, which may set cookies on your device.
  • Advertisements – see below

If you do not want Circle Spy to save such cookies to your device, most browsers will allow you to block them in their settings. However, if you do, you may not be able to access some features on Circle Spy.

Circle Spy uses scripts from third-party or external websites for certain features (e.g. Twitter, to display follow buttons) which may set cookies to your device. We cannot be held responsible for cookies set by third party or external websites.
